Billboards

As a parent who has tragically lost a child to an unsolved murder, my unwavering support for billboards featuring unsolved murder victims comes from a place of deep pain, hope, and a genuine desire for justice. These billboards hold immense significance for me, and I believe they serve several important purposes:

Keeping Their Memory Alive: The billboards provide a visual and public reminder of my child, who was taken from us far too soon. Seeing their face on these billboards helps keep their memory alive, ensuring that they are not forgotten.

Raising Awareness: Unsolved murder cases often fade from public attention over time, and billboards can reignite interest in these cases. By prominently displaying my child’s image and story, we can draw attention to the fact that there is a family still waiting for answers and closure.

Generating Leads: Billboards have the potential to reach a wide audience, including individuals who might hold crucial information about the case. Someone who saw or knows something might finally come forward due to the persistent visibility of the billboard.

Pressuring Law Enforcement: When the public is consistently reminded of an unsolved case, it can put pressure on law enforcement agencies to continue their efforts to solve the case. It sends a message that the community is invested in justice being served.

Supporting Other Families: By advocating for these billboards, I am standing in solidarity with other families who are also seeking justice for their lost loved ones. Our collective voices can make a stronger impact and create change.
Advocating for Change: Pushing for billboards and increased visibility of unsolved cases can prompt discussions about potential improvements in the criminal justice system, such as better resources for investigations, improved support for victims’ families, and more.

Creating Awareness About Unsolved Crimes: By raising awareness about unsolved crimes, these billboards also remind the public of the reality that there are cases that remain unresolved, highlighting the importance of supporting law enforcement and encouraging community involvement.

In supporting these billboards, I am not only seeking justice for my own child but also hoping to prevent such tragic losses in the future. I believe that by shedding light on these unresolved cases, we can foster a sense of community responsibility, encourage cooperation, and ultimately bring about closure for families like mine.
